सामग्री

  • 1 cup Atta
  • ½ cup Methi Chopped
  • ¼ cup Coriander Chopped
  • ¼ cup Onion Chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Chopped
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Dry mango powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ½ cup Water

तरीका

  • Take atta and salt in a bowl. Add boiling water and oil to the atta.

  • Mix it using a spatula until a sticky dough forms.

  • Split the dough into three equal parts.

  • Take one part of the dough and when it is hot enough to hold comfortably, place it in an idiyappam mould.

  • Grease an idli stand and press the idiyappam mould gently for the noodles to form.

  • Shape these noodles into idiyappam and place in the idli moulds.

  • Steam the idiyappam for 10 minutes.

  • Take the idli stand out and let it cool for a few minutes. Take the steamed idiyappam out in a bowl.

  • Heat a pan and add some oil followed by mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and onion.

  • Saute them for a few minutes and add chopped tomatoes.

  • Mix chilli powder and salt and let it cook for 5 minutes.

  • Add the idiyappam and mix it thoroughly. Break the longer idiyappam noodles into small pieces.

  • Once everything is mixed properly, take the mixture out on a serving plate.

  • Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it warm with coconut chutney.
